Use of skewed blades with the previous external propeller fan has made it possible to reduce turbulent flow noise generated from the trailing edge of the wings and to achieve a lower noise level of 63 dB outside the cars (down by 4 dB in comparison with our previous value). Optimization of the blade angle of the indoor sirocco fan has brought about a noise level inside the cars of 64 dB (down by 2 dB in comparison with our previous value).
