Establishing a Maintenance Organisation to Deliver Performance.
Hitachi has built a new organisation from scratch to support its fleets in Europe and in particular the Class 395 Fleet. As Rolling Stock contracts become more performance based and aligned with the Franchise Agreements, Hitachi has developed the organisation and faculties to meet these challenges. The session will focus on the solutions that were applied to create a new operation incorporating custom and practices applied in Japan.
- Key features of the organisation
- Incorporation of Japanese Practices
- Designing facilities for the future
- Ensuring that the company is able to support new, cutting edge products in the modern UK Rail Industry.
