Autonomous control by on-board device based on stopping point information

The conventional ATC on-board device controls train speed uniformly by receiving permitted speed from the ground equipment. In Digital ATC, the on-board device retrieves the appropriate speed check profile based on stopping point information. Therefore, each car is able to perform optimum brake control, taking each car's specification into consideration.
