Helping train operators realize driverless operation
Compared to ATC, which only controls braking, ATO controls all phases of train operation --- from acceleration to precise stopping. Currently, ATO is installed mostly in monorails and linear metro. Combined with the Platform Gates, ATO helps the train operators to realize driverless operation.
