Hitachi has developed 24kV vacuum insulated switchgear in order to eliminate the risk of greenhouse gas emission, to meet customer requirement such as compact design and low maintenance. C-VIS mainly consists of vacuum insulated switch and grease-free hybrid type electro-magnetic actuator. It has features of compactness & reliability of GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and accessibility of AIS (air insulated switchgear) based on Hitachi's vacuum technologies.
