Automatic Announcement Control Function

The following six types of announcements are broadcast by the automatic announcement control function:

1. Train approaching announcement: Alerts passengers that a train is approaching the platform. Information on trains that are linking up or dividing, or out trains that will reverse directions can also be added.
2. Arrival announcement (including transfer information): Announces the station name and transfer information to passengers on the train arriving at the station.
3. Departure announcement: Notifies passengers on the platform of the train’s departure.
4. Advance arrival announcement: Notifies passengers on the platform of the destination, location of reserved cars, location of non-smoking cars, and total number of cars for the train due to arrive.
5. Additional announcement: Notifies passengers of events related to the specific station not dependent on the timetable.
6. Delay information announcement: Provides information on delays if a delay exceeding the preset limit occurs a preset time before the scheduled departure time.
