1. Hitachi's standard and large type vehicles can maneuver around a curve radius as tight as 70 meters. The small type vehicles can turn as tight as 40 meters.
2. By employing rubber tires, Hitachi monorails can cope with a 6% grade.
3. The guideway (track beam) requires less space.

These features simplify the installation of Hitachi Monorail System, especially in developed urban areas where space is limited.
